Parking spaces are available at the Museum for your convenience.
Rate: $2.00 per half hour.
Daily maximum rate: $12.00.

Outdoor Parking
There is additional parking on streets around the Museum.
These parking lots are all a short cycle (approximately one kilometre) from the War Museum:

  • Place du Portage, Rue Maisonneuve

The Canadian War Museum is located at 1 Vimy Place, on LeBreton Flats, at the corner of Booth Street and the Ottawa River Parkway, west of Parliament Hill.

7. What do I need to bring to register?

Your signed registration/pledge form as well as all the pledges you have collected. Remember if you are under 18, your parent or guardian needs to sign your registration/pledge form.

8. Why do I have to register in person when I registered online?

We have express lines for pre-registered online participants so you can turn in any cash pledges and pick up your CN Cycle for CHEO bib and any applicable pledge incentives.

9. Does my donation cover my registration?

No.

10. Do we get a tax receipt for the $40 registration fee?

No.

11. I have just registered. How can I change teams?

We'll do it for you. Email us your name, the name of your existing team and the name of the team you would like to be on. Alternatively, call (613) 737-7979 and leave a message.

12. I just made a pledge but I can't tell if it went through, could you check the donation?

Yes. Email us your name and the amount of your donation. Alternatively, call (613) 737-7979 and leave a message.

13. I have registered twice - could you delete my extra registration?

Yes. Email us your request. Alternatively, call (613) 737-7979 and leave a message.

14. Can I bring my dog?

Yes, please keep your dog leashed, stay at the back of the pack and remember to poop and scoop.

15. Do we all have to do the same route?

No. Everyone should choose a route they can comfortably complete by 12:15 p.m.

16. Can my kids ride their bikes on the 2K and 5K walks?

Yes, new this year we have tweaked the route and moved from the Ottawa River Parkway path to the westbound lanes to facilitate this request.

17. My daughter is 3 and I can't get a sitter for the day so she will be on my bike with me. Do I need to pay registration for her as well?

No. That being said, in the spirit of this being a fundraiser, we encourage you to make a donation on her behalf.

18. Do I need to register all my children?

Since this is a fundraiser, we encourage all family members to register and collect pledges to help kids with cancer. In addition, all registered participants receive CN Cycle for CHEO bibs, which facilitate the identification of lost children, for instance, or injured cyclists.

19. I would like to register but don't have a credit card.

No problem. We accept both cash and personal cheques during registration on Friday, May 4 (3 – 8 p.m.); Saturday, May 5 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.); and on Sunday, May 6 (7:00 a.m. - 10 a.m.).

20. I would like to make a donation but don't want to do it online?

We accept both cash and personal cheques made out to "CN Cycle for CHEO - In Trust". You can also donate by calling (613) 737-7979.

21. Is there parking available?

23. How much does it cost to enter?

$20 for children 14 and under; $40 for adults.

24. How many people can be on a team?

There is no maximum.

26. Where can I pick up a pledge form?

You can download a pledge form or after March 31 you can pick up a pledge form at McDonald's restaurants and Tommy & Lefebvre stores.

27. I have moved. would you take me off your mailing list?

28. I need to remove a team member from my team.

We'll do it for you. Email us their name and the name of your team. Alternatively, call (613) 737-7979 and leave a message.

29. When will my off-line donors receive their tax receipt?

Tax receipts will be issued within 90 days.
